Jeremy Allen tells authentic stories. Whether through videography, photography, musical composition, or consulting, he creates compelling narratives that get to the heart of the client’s purpose. This focus motivates his projects with independent artists, non-profit foundations, educational groups and corporate and commercial clients.
Allen is a multi-instrumentalist musician, photographer, videographer/editor, producer, and audio engineer. This background as an artist, paired with his experience in government, education, and event production, allows a unique perspective into content creation. He understands the creative process as well as the technical requirements of completing work on-time and on-budget.
As a musician, Allen has performed nationally and internationally for over 25 years showcasing the music of Latin America, most recently with latin afro-pop band Guarandinga. Prior to that, 12 years as bassist, percussionist, and musical director of the pan Latin-American jazz multi-media arts ensemble, Quijeremá. Allen holds a B.A. in American Studies from the University of California, Berkeley with an emphasis in Urban Education.
