This was a fun project featuring The Dynamic Miss Faye Carol, pianist Joe Warner and the Oakland School For the Arts premiere a cappella ensemble, OSA Vocal Rush. It was a joy working with these talented musicians and their new take on this Billy Strayhorn classic, celebrating just one of many Black LGBTQ+ Musical Pioneers.
