Albany Juneteenth 2023

Albany Juneteenth 2023 at Memorial Park was a lively celebration of culture and community. Highlights included performances by Terrie Odabi (blues), African Heritage Ensemble (African drumming workshop and performance), Keith & The JC Kids (classical fusion), Skip the Needle (rock), Al Lazard and the World Street Players (New Orleans Funk), Tiffany Austin (jazz soul), Valerie Troutt’s MoonCandy (live house ensemble)
and DJ K-La V (soulful party music), along with a craft fair, food vendors, and an inspiring art show. Families, friends, and local vendors came together to honor Juneteenth’s legacy through music, dance, and storytelling.
