Faye & the Folks
It’s been so much fun this last month filming Faye Carol The Dynamic Miss Faye Carol for her February series, “Faye and the Folks” at Geoffrey's Inner Circle here in Oakland. In addition to the great music, I’ve been able to spend some quality time with my new Canon C70 and the 70-200mm 2.8 rf lens. Maaaaaaannnnnn, it just feels sooo good, plus I can pull some really nice stills…I LOVE it. Here’s a bit of the rockin good time featuring Steve Turre. Other artists of note in this series are saxophonist Ricky Woodard, Trumpeter Bill Ortiz, flautist Elena Pinderhughes, Steel guitarist Robert Randolph and drummer Dennis Chambers.
